Diabetes

I decided to write on a different blog about A diabetes. I decided to write a different blog about this for a number of reasons. First, it is personal and at times difficult. Second, when I print these out for the kids I didn't think Hudson would want novels about Ashlynn's diabetes in his book someday. Third, I hope that the blog may help others that I do not know who are struggling with Diabetes and I do not wish for them to see all of the other private things from our family life at this time. Wedding Dress Shopping

Barry, the kids, Corissa, Whittney, my parenents and went to Gunnison to Lila Lee's shop to find a wedding dress for Corissa. Brenden stayed in SLC with his girlfriend. Corissa found a beautiful dress. She will make a stunning bride. We found Tow Mater while we were there. We also went to show the kids the Manti Temple. They were so excited to see where Barry and I were married. While there I think Ashlynn really felt the spirit. She bursted out in song. Singing I love to see the Temple, and Families are Forever. People gathered around and stopped walking to hear her sing. It was so sweet. I hope the kids always feel the spirit that they felt that day and desire to go to the temple. We were able to visit our family members' grave sites while in Manti. I was glad to be able to do this. I really miss my Grandpa Vern and I was happy to be able to visit his site and think of him.

Jazz Game

We went to SLC for the Utah Dental Convention. While there we took the whole family to the Jazz/Wizards game to celebrate Brenden's and Ashlynn's birthdays. I didn't see a whole lot of the game, between taking kids to the bathroom, to get drinks and food, etc., BUT we had a great time!

Mitt Romney in Elko

We went to listen to Mitt Romney's rally speech yesterday at the Elko Airport. I was surprised that the rally started with an opening prayer. The Governor of ID introduced Mr. Romney, as well as the NV Lt. Governor. Mitt talked about how he would stop Obama care, use America's Natural Resources, stop BIG Government, and bring America back to its values. I enjoyed listening to his speech. We were on the UT 10 O'clock news on ABC. The kids were able to shake Mr. Romney's hands. He told me how cute Hudson was. Hudson would not let go of his hand, I eventually had to encourage Hudson to let go. The NV caucus was today. We do not yet know the results.
