I feel like I am far behind. I never feel like I have enough time to be 100% at all of the things I want to do/be. It is frustrating to me. I like to be good at what I do. Needless to say, my blogging is far far behind. In a futile attempt to recreate 3 months lost to our family blog and memories I am going to try to hit and include some highlights.
October-Aunt Jean came to stay with us. We had so much fun seeing her. We really miss her. We went to the mall, out to eat, and Ashlynn loved going on walks and jumping in mud puddles. The good and bad was is that Aunt Jean was here, the bad is that she was here while Hudson had the swine flu-the good she was here to help us, the bad I spent most all of the time she was here at the hospital with Hudson, the good-he recovered quickly and is alive and well.
NovemberWe went to watch Corissa's basketball team play the U of U and BYU. My birthday. My family came up early to celebrate with me. It was so fun. We went out to dinner and then went bowling. My mom and I stayed up all night trying to finish all of my projects from Super Saturday. It was as great as it could be considering Barry was gone. The kids and I did have a blast watching cartoons and making homemade icecream. The Leavitt's came over and brought me pizza which was totally fun. We also went down to St. George for Thanksgiving and family pictures. It was fun to see everyone. But my ultimate highlight was BLACK FRIDAY! We had a ton of fun. My family went with me and we hit up the outlet stores all evening and then starting at midnight we camped out at Walmart getting amazing deals, which come to find out we could have got online! Then we ate breakfast at Denny's.
DecemberHudson turned one! I can not believe how fast time goes. I have said this before. Hudson is an amazing little boy. He is able to walk/run!!! He is a little parrot and repeats a great deal of what we all say. His best word is "GO" and boy does he ever. He loves his sister and tries to be just like her. He loves to eat, has started sleeping through the night and loves to dance. He is a momma's boy.. and all I can say is that i hope he always loves me as much as he does right now. Barry's birthday was the day after. Barry's family came down! We spent Christmas at my parent's house. It is always nice to go home. I love being with all of my family. I miss being young and enjoying the excitment of Santa coming. I am so grateful to have little children to bring back the fun magic of Santa. Santa came to visit the kids Christmas Eve. Ashlynn loved him, Hudson did not.
